Siraha, Dhangadhimai, Dhunganatole – The Padmodaya Waiting Shelter has been constructed in the premises of Rameshwarnath Shiva Temple with financial support from social worker and Padmodaya Foundation’s patron, Ashok Kumar Khadka. This waiting shelter aims to provide a comfortable resting space for local residents and devotees visiting the temple.
Four days ago, the foundation’s president, Dipendra Mahato, laid the foundation stone for the project, and today, social worker Khadka officially inaugurated the shelter.
This waiting shelter will primarily serve devotees arriving from long journeys, offering them a secure and comfortable environment while enhancing their temple visit experience. Locals believe that this initiative will promote religious tourism in the rural area and strengthen social unity.

Speaking at the event, social worker Ashok Khadka described his contribution as “a small yet meaningful initiative prioritizing community needs.” He stated, “This shelter will not only ease religious travel but will also contribute to the socio-economic development of the community.”
Foundation President Dipendra Mahato emphasized that the project symbolizes “a new milestone in regional development.” The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of local leaders, religious figures, and more than hundreds of devotees, who praised the initiative as a step toward enhancing the region’s prestige.
On this occasion, local residents and devotees acknowledged the dedication of Khadka and Mahato as an exemplary act of social responsibility. Additionally, the shelter plans to host educational and healthcare-related programs in the future.
Located in Dhunganatole, Dhangadhi, this waiting shelter is expected to become a hub for religious tourism, community unity, and local development.
