Apr 02, 2024 Sukhipur, Siraha In a heartwarming display of compassion and community support, Devkumar Yadav, a physically disabled individual from Sukhipur Napa 1, Dhangadhimai-13, has received vital assistance from the Padmodaya Foundation. Devkumar, the son of Rajkumar Yadav, has been struggling with mobility due to a disability he was born with. For a long time, he had been using a broken wheelchair that severely limited his movement.
Upon discovering Devkumar’s condition, volunteers from the Padmodaya Foundation quickly sprang into action. They were able to replace his damaged wheelchair with a new one, providing him with much-needed mobility. This timely intervention has given Devkumar a renewed sense of independence.
In addition to the wheelchair, the foundation has also initiated steps to ensure Devkumar receives appropriate medical treatment to address his needs as much as possible.
A special note of gratitude goes to Ashok Khadka, the social worker who generously provided the new wheelchair, further exemplifying the power of community solidarity.
