In its ongoing mission to uplift and empower the local community, Padmodaya Foundation has extended its support to the Lavkush Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited, an organization run by local farmers in Dhangadhimai Municipality, Siraha District. The foundation has donated an office drawer to aid the cooperative in streamlining its administrative work.
The Lavkush Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society has been playing a vital role in supporting farmers by providing financial services, resources, and guidance to enhance agricultural productivity. However, the lack of adequate office infrastructure was a challenge for the cooperative. Recognizing this need, Padmoday Foundation stepped in to provide essential support.
Ashok Kumar Khadka, the Patron of Padmoday Foundation, expressed his commitment to assisting grassroots organizations. “Supporting initiatives like Lavkush Cooperative aligns with our mission to empower local communities. We hope this small gesture will help the cooperative enhance its operations and better serve the farmers,” he said.
The foundation’s initiative was warmly welcomed by the members of the cooperative, who expressed their gratitude for the timely support. “This office drawer will greatly help us in organizing important documents and running our cooperative smoothly,” said a representative of the Lavkush Cooperative.
Padmodaya Foundation, under Dipendra Mahato’s leadership, has been actively working in the sectors of health, education, youth, and women empowerment.
